The 2017 Super Bowl is set to increase sales for Green Bay area businesses.
Even without the Packers in the Super Bowl this year, the Big Game still means big sales for Green Bay area businesses. On Super Bowl Sunday in 2016, Toppers Pizza in Green Bay experienced a 31 percent increase in sales compared to an average Sunday. This year, they expect to sell around 800 to 1,000 items, pizzas and Topperstix.
"The only day that would beat it would be Octoberfest at our Appleton location," Aaron Johnson, owner of three Toppers Pizzas in metro Green Bay told the Press-Gazette.
