The leading pizza franchise is preparing for a spike in business as football season and the holidays get underway.
This time of the year brings an increased number of food gatherings, meaning a frenzy for pizza operators. Toppers Pizza gets prepped beforehand, knowing the football tailgates and the holiday season are going to increase the number of delivery orders that come through their system.
"On game days for stores on large college campuses we can see a 100 percent or more increase in Saturday sales versus a typical Sunday," Mac Malchow, Director of National Marketing & Menu Innovation at Toppers Pizza told Pizzamarketplace.com. "You need all hands on deck during those big orders."
